Jessica Choy

Jessica works as a psychometrist for Appletree Psychological Services under the supervision of Dr. Pan. She received her B.A. in Psychological Sciences and B.S. in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Jessica is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
 

Jessica was a past research assistant under the Evolution, Culture, and Stereotyping Lab at UCI, where she helped conduct research on how aspects of the surrounding environment can shape one's social behavior, cultural differences, and stereotypes. She was also actively engaged in leadership positions that promoted cultural inclusivity and exchange, such as being an International Student Ambassador, as well as a Programs Coordinator at the International Center. 
 
Jessica enjoys working with diverse populations and wishes to extend her passions in the professional setting with plans to pursue graduate studies. Some of Jessica's clinical interests include positive psychology, parent-child interactions/interpersonal relationships, and personality disorders.
