Ailing Wang, AMFT
I am an associate marriage and family therapist. I strive to provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, strength-based therapy with the approach of integrating person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and attachment theory. I believe that every client possesses the inner strength and ability to achieve positive changes. I am dedicated to creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns and work toward their goals.

I am fluent in both Mandarin and English. My education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Wuhan University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University. I enjoy working with diverse populations. With over a decade of experience working in a university in China, I have extensive experience supporting college and graduate students. I am also a certified Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) instructor through Gordon Training International, where I have conducted workshops in the Bay Area to help parents build stronger, more connected relationships with their children. Additionally, I have served high school students in a Bay Area public school for one year, guiding them through the challenges and uncertainties of adolescence.
My educational background, along with my work and training experiences, enables me to deeply understand the unique developmental needs of different age groups. I am committed to providing professional guidance and support to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing challenges.
